What was the highlight of Hotel Nevasur Sierra Nevada
Okay but quite disappointing for the price
The location is good, a 15 min walk up from the main square/ garage Staff and reception very friendly Room was very clean Breakfast was included, nothing great, quite regular (I missed fresh orange juice and some boiled / fried eggs)
We came here the first time 8 years ago and literally nothing has changed, it has a very dated and neglected feel. Cheap old furniture, we had a small room facing the back, two single beds, not a double bed. Light in the bathroom too dark, night lamps too bright, pillows too low. I liked that there was a bathtub, but no plug to use it. At least there was hot water to shower. Doorknob was broken. Heating in the room is not adjustable, either it is too hot or too cold because apparently the heating gets turned off at some time, no clear information given about the heating hours. There was a telephone in the room but no indication how to call reception. Reception looks like from the 1980s, very dark. NO Parking, just street parking, we had to drive several rounds and eventually park in the main garage down on the square and carry our stuff up several flights of stairs. Could be better indicated. The hotel is big and has potential but it seems poorly managed.

Good overall location! Not too far from the ski station. Parking is very limited due to its size.
Reception area is a little too dark and carpeting on staircase was lose and needs urgent repairing before someone trips over and hurt themselves.

Overall I still like the hotel
Price, location, breakfast. Hot shower,
Heater turned off from 24:00 to 07:00 or 08:00. Room freezes during the night . Wi-Fi not very stable . Carpets need to be replaced pillows are too thin Bathroom need more shelves
